Running gait analysis.

Do you just need a running gait analysis? Book it as a stand alone test.

A running gait analysis gives us an opportunity to look at how you run. This helps with identifying opportunities to improve your running, assist with injury rehabilitation or see if you’re running efficiency is improving.

By using video analysis and the RunScribe™️ technology, we can get valuable insights into your biomechanics.

Running shoe assessment.

There is no single metric or variable that can tell you what running shoes you need to buy. But seeing how your running gait responds to different shoes can help you in finding the right pair.

The running gait analysis is a good opportunity to look at what works for you.

Running injury assessment

Our specialised evaluation examines essential elements such as strength, mobility, stability, and running gait, revealing any weaknesses and training errors that may hinder your performance or contribute to injury. The assessment and injury rehabilitation is administered by a biokineticist.

Armed with this valuable knowledge, you can proactively address potential issues and elevate your overall running experience.

The assessment usually consists of the following:

  • History taking: Share your story, give some background, and explain your objectives.

  • Objective testing: Testing for issues in muscle strength, flexibility, posture, health factors (blood pressure, body composition, fitness) etc. that may be contributing to injury, pain or performance.

  • Functional testing: Running and injury-specific testing, gait analysis etc.

The assessment results then help us to prescribe rehabilitation exercises, provide training guidelines or refer you to the appropriate professional if necessary.
